What to do?

We just got back last night from my Sister-in-law's house. We went to celebrate the dedication of My twin nieces to the Lord! It was a wonderful and beautiful occasion! I hadn't seen the twins for almost 2 months and I forgot how much babies can grow and change in just two months! I don't want to reveal any one's name for safety reasons (the world wide web can be a scary place) so I will call them "Baby J" and "Baby C". Baby J is so sweet, delicate and feminine. Baby C is sweet and undeniably cute, but she is the dominant one of the two and seems to take charge of the situation. They both reek havoc on my hormones! I want one! lol!

My BIL and SIL also have two "older" children. I love them very much too!

Anyways, all that to tell you that on the way to their house I stopped at a fabric shop I love! I bought some new fabric wanting to make something for the twins, but I'm not sure what to make. I was thinking about a romper/bubble suit thingy. I would make some super cute skirts, but they are starting to crawl and I think they would get in the way. Pants and a top would be cute, but i case you didn't already know, it gets really hot here in Texas during the Summer which starts next month, not that we haven't already had 100+ degree weather this year! So I think a little romper of some sorts is my best bet. What do you think? Do you have any new and fresh ideas? Here are the fabrics I bought:

Nicey Jane (Picnic Bouquet) by Heather Bailey for the main part of the project:

And Picnic (Gingham) by Michael Miller for the trim:

I was thinking I would trim one with the pink and one with the green to make them a little different from each other. I really wish I could have found a blue that matches instead of the green because I think the main fabric has enough green, but alas it could not be found!

Let me know what you think in the comments section and follow my blog to find out what I end up doing!

Happy Monday everyone! Have a wonderful and blessed day!

  1. I've been trying to think of a non dress/skirt idea, but I can't. I think a romper type thing would be the way to go.
