It wasn't that it was a HARD project. It's just that the work was tedious and repetitive. I don't like tedious and repetitive! On top of that the kids got out of school, we moved, and we had several different activities going on this summer. I just was.not.motivated to pick back up on this project!
But its done now! Yay! And now I am ready to share it with you!
Has anyone see this on the Anthropologie website?
Well, I have. Let me tell you- no way on God's beautiful green earth was I going to spend $100+ on one! I mean look. How simple. Its just strips of fabric ruffled and sewn on a shower curtain! AND it DID NOT come in pink! We HAVE to have pink around this house, with three girls and all! So I decide right then and there I was going to make one some day.
Then we found out we would be moving in about a month. I was already dreaming of all the decorating I could do and I immediately remembered this shower curtain! I thought it would be perfect in the girls bathroom! (They were getting their own! Yay for privacy!) So, I started in on this little baby and got quite a bit done before chaos and lethargy ensued! I finished it this week and Take a look! I L-O-V-E it! I enjoy walking past their bath and taking a peek at it as I go by! It turned out so well!
I didn't take pictures of it in it's place because the toilet would have had to be in the pictures, and I don't think you want to see our toilet! he-he!
Anyways, I am planning on posting a tutorial for this soon! So keep checking back for that! You'll definitely want to make one for your little princess or princesses.....or maybe even yourself! ;o)
Great colors!
